Housing Services
Helping You Find Safe, Affordable Housing
Shelter Diversion, Housing Placement, and Outreach.
The Ottawa Mission believes that housing is a human right, so we work to find suitable housing for every Mission client.
Our case managers help you search for affordable options and can help you apply for subsidized or supportive housing.
Our staff can also help you move into your new home, connecting you with furniture banks, local services, and more.

Shelter Diversion
Our Frontline team and Intake and Diversion case manager help you determine if there are any safe and immediate housing options to divert you away from staying at The Ottawa Mission.

Housing Placement
If we cannot safely and sustainably divert you away from our shelter, we provide case management support to help you find suitable housing as soon as possible.
Ottawa Mission case managers will help you obtain any needed ID, fill out paperwork, find and apply for affordable housing, and more.
We provide housing support suited to your needs.

Housing Outreach
Once we help you find safe and affordable housing, Ottawa Mission housing staff will help you move into your new home and connect you with a furniture bank and other local resources.
If you are moving into Ottawa Mission-operated housing, we can provide ongoing support, such as counselling or mental health referrals and routine check ins, as needed.
