Emergency Shelter

Men’s Emergency Shelter

179 Beds Providing a Safe Place to Sleep.

To access shelter, come to 35 Waller Street, Ottawa.

The Ottawa Mission is open 24/7, 365 days a year.

Sign-up times for beds for new arrivals begin at 9AM each morning, at our front desk.

Those who have stayed the previous night can retain their bed if they check in with our front desk between 4-6PM.

Unclaimed beds are made available to daily sign-up attendees, on a first come, first served basis.

Frontline Services

Our Frontline staff are trained to ensure that everyone at The Mission is safe and secure, 24/7.

As the first point of contact, Frontline handles daily book-in and book-outs for shelter beds and connects you with the Mission’s case managers, programs, and services to help you exit from homelessness and otherwise stabilize your life.

Clothing Room

Giving out clean clothing to anyone who needs it.

The Ottawa Mission accepts donations of male clothing items to distribute new and gently-used items from our clothing room, including shirts, pants, socks, underwear, shoes, coats, toques, gloves, and more.

The Mission’s clothing room is available to all.
