People experiencing homelessness have trouble accessing many basic necessities we sometimes take for granted. From clean underwear to personal care and hygiene items, your in-kind gift can help restore dignity, hope and purpose to someone in need.
In addition to in-kind donations, we accept cash donations to allow us to purchase basic necessities and most needed items.

Donation pick up
The Mission is able to arrange donation pick-ups within Ottawa upon request. If you would like to schedule a pick-up, please call 613-234-1144 ext. 248 or email donations@ottawamission.com and a member of our team will be happy to assist you.
Due to limited storage space, we are unfortunately unable to accept donations of women’s and children’s clothing, household appliances, or furniture.
In some cases, we may be able to provide tax receipts for new items that are donated with an original purchase receipt. If you are requesting a tax receipt for your donation, please contact donations@ottawamission.com before you make your donation, to confirm eligibility.
