Hunger is here

It’s in your community, but you can help!

With the rising cost of living affecting low income and vulnerable households the most, more people are now going hungry. Our food trucks make 38 stops a week to food insecure communities across Ottawa. We travel into communities just like yours! For $500 you can localize your support and provide meals at one of our food truck stops. Your generosity helps people in your community survive during difficult economic times.

Help people in your community!

More people are now relying on supportive food services, and it’s happening right in our own backyards. The rising cost of living affecting low income and vulnerable households is at an all-time high. But you can help! The number of households that are food insecure in Ottawa has grown exponentially since the pandemic.

$500: you can provide 100 meals at one of our food truck stops. Our food trucks travel to 38 high-priority neighborhoods a week, to serve warm, healthy and nutritious meals.

Many clients often go hungry until our food trucks come.

Support a food truck stop in your neighbourhood and beyond to give back to your local community members in need!

Food Truck Route Partnership

Food Truck Route Partnership

Each week, our food trucks travel throughout your city feeding over 38 hungry and food insecure communities in Ottawa. Your organization can be apart of this program!

$3,500: you can support a food truck route to help those impacted by food insecurity in your community. A food truck route partnership will offer you many opportunities for your organization and employees to give back to their community in a meaningful way.

A Food Truck Route Partnership includes:

  • Employee engagement opportunities: Help build a sense of community and philanthropy within your team. Your employees can visit a stop, help hand out meals and extra non-perishables like toiletries and groceries and see the impact your organization has on your community in need.
  • A social media thank you post to your business made across all Ottawa Mission social channel accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X)
