Workplace Campaigns & Events

Workplace fundraising campaigns and events, ranging from bake sales, chili cook-off’s or raffles, to golf tournaments, concerts and walk-a-thons, can be a fun and easy ways to support The Ottawa Mission. It is also a way to bring employees together for a good cause.

If you are interested in organizing a workplace fundraiser, we are happy to provide secure donation boxes and Ottawa Mission signage.

We are also here to help by providing you:

  • Tips how to organize a successful event.
  • Details and information about all the programs we offer.
  • Provide our official logo, to be used on your promotional material (must be approved prior to event).
  • Possible help promoting your event through the Ottawa Mission’s social media channels.

Team Volunteer Days

The Ottawa Mission is a great place to volunteer. Over 250 people volunteer at the shelter weekly – either as individuals or as teams – and they have a huge impact on our ability to help people in need.

Team volunteer activities range from preparing and serving food, to participating in events, to sorting and organizing donated clothing.

Payroll Deduction & Matching Gifts

Companies can support employees who wish to donate to The Ottawa Mission in two ways.
