Paul suffers from complex post-traumatic stress disorder due to several different events in his life. Left unchecked, his condition deteriorated and eventually lead him to The Mission.
Paul was assigned a housing case manager who helped remove hurdles impeding him from securing affordable housing, like helping him qualify for a city rent-supplement program.
But the key support element Paul received was access to our DYMON Health Clinic. Paul was seen by Lesley, an OICH nurse practitioner who prescribed the medication that stabilized Paul’s condition and changed his life.
With this, all the supports Paul received clicked together.
Today, Paul is still in his home you and The Mission helped him find, still living the life you helped him recapture, and still visiting our clinic for all his health needs.
