The Ottawa Mission’s Food Services Training Program and local networking group ‘Ladies Who Lunch’ joined forces this month to launch a special fundraising initiative called “Hope Rises”.
The men and women taking part in The Mission’s five month job training program made three different kinds of frozen gourmet cookie dough rolls – Gingersnap, Cheddar/Bacon Shortbread and Sugar Cookies! The three delicious flavours were bundled together and sold in the community for $20. 100% of the proceeds have gone to support The Ottawa Mission’s Food Services Training Program and the daily needs of the 235 people in The Mission’s shelter.
THANK YOU for your support – orders exceeded what was expected and unfortunately the supply has run out.
NO MORE ORDERS WILL BE TAKING THIS YEAR.
